EMERSON LAKE & PALMER - Trilogy 1972

I really must have bought a whole s*it load of music in 1972 !! And surprisingly, quite a bit of prog rock. Here we are, back in 'gatefold' country.

The band consisted of Keith Emerson from The Nice, Greg Lake from King Crimson and Carl Palmer from The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Atomic Rooster. Their musical style is described as having ..'adaptations of classical music with jazz and symphonic rock elements'

My favourite from this album would have to be 'From the Beginning' although from other albums 'Fanfare for the Common Man' and 'Karn Evil 9' must be on the list.

Out of the 3 members of the group, Carl Palmer is the only one left.
Sadly, Greg Lake died of cancer in 2016 and Keith Emerson also died in 2016, but from a self-inflicted bullet wound to the head. He also suffered from heart disease and depression. He'd had nerve damage to his right hand and was worried he'd disappoint his fans.

Both the cover and the album are in good condition for almost 50 years old.
