JETHRO TULL - Thick as a Brick 1972

"Really don't mind if you sit this one out."
Everything about "Thick as a Brick" is visual. The image of Ian Anderson standing on one leg doing for the flute what Hendrix and Clapton did for the guitar - the scenes playing out in your head as you listen to almost 45 minutes of continuous progressive sound images - and last but not least the monumental vinyl album cover concept that could never exist in the CD age.
The gatefold opens out, unfolds and becomes a 12 page newspaper, 'The St. Cleve Chronicle and Linwell Advertiser' complete with everything a local paper would have.
Here's my 1972 copy in all it's eccentric, magnificent glory.
Read the paper, smell the vinyl and lose yourself in the swirling coat-tails of Jethro Tull.
